Of course, then there's about a four-year gap until I get anything else workable. :BPresent Perfecthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16195959811544391904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8184562969471581744.post-71063509798669027402014-05-30T16:45:26.934-05:002014-05-30T16:45:26.934-05:00What I find most impressive about this story is th...What I find most impressive about this story is that you can remember things from when you were four. Also I am very interested in what you have to say about Fiddlesticks, as I just read it myself and, well, had a lot to say about it.

Fun (unrelated) fact: I actually knew my great-great-grandfather. He died when I was 4, I think, at the age of 102, and I even have a clear memory of him. There's a picture floating around newspaper archives somewhere that features him, my great-grandmother, my grandfather, my uncle and his daughter. Five generations in one place, pretty amazing.Present Perfecthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16195959811544391904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8184562969471581744.post-29476795498204638002014-05-30T06:24:38.969-05:002014-05-30T06:24:38.969-05:00I'm not sure which of us is the greater Luddit...I'm not sure which of us is the greater Luddite; I don't have a smartphone, but I've had texting for some time now. It's really not any more convenient unless you just want to fire off a quick message rather than have a full conversation. I can't stand when someone turns it into this big back-and-forth deal instead of just calling

Speaking of Luddism, my coworker thinks it's ridiculous that I prefer physical dice. I can't even have a simple conversation with the guy about the relative merits of different dice manufacturers.
